Preparation & Schedule At 8:30 a.m. New Year's decorations are gathered, at 9:00 a.m. a priest's blessing is given and the fire is lit. Festivities continues until noon.
Other Information ・Omiki (ritual sake) served
・Those wanting to cook squid should bring their own
・Hosted by the Nunagawa Shrine Parishoner's Assoc.
・Note:We call this event Omatsusan-yaki: Fire is lit in the shrine then that fire is used to light the pyre
